McKinney Police Association

We are a voluntary organization comprised of police officers and dispatchers. The McKinney Police Association's principle concerns focus on law enforcement issues and the effect of those issues on our community. MPA provides representation and a voice for police employees on issues that are of concern to us. We are dedicated to service to our community and the promotion of fairness and effectiveness in law enforcement.

Comments, suggestions and communications from the public, fellow police officers, and police officer associations are welcome and encouraged. Please contact us.

• The next MPA general membership meeting will be held on July 13th, 7pm at the Saxon Woods Apts. clubhouse.

• MPA pulled out of Meet and Confer discussions after no progress and sent a letter to City Council explaining our position, along with a salary and benefits survey showing McKinney Police back near the bottom of cities again.

• May 10th, 2010 - We wish to thank Eddie and Merita at Sicily's Restaurant for hosting our Back The Blue benefit for the MPA Benevolence Fund. We are grateful to all the volunteers that worked that day, and to everyone that came out to enjoy a meal at Sicily's to support this important cause.
